Forms of African American youth - Promoting entrepreneurship

First, we need to help them see the value of providing a service or product. Now I want to pause here. Drug traffickers who claim to provide a necessary service. I am for the company to build the neighborhoods of support, not down!

Our children must learn to observe and determine what services or products are required. My favorite is the lawn care service more and more practical. There is always someone in the block, which is our youngIndividual sidewalk to mow or shovel the snow from your. Suppose that young people have no access to lawn equipment care. Sometimes the owners are unwilling to provide their instruments, while the child is working on its premises. It does not hurt to ask.

Last year found one of my children, knowing that women young and old appreciate attractive accessories. Began to make an agreement and the sale in the fall and winter crochet scarves. Finally, adding glass crafts in his claimsProduct line. His summers are spent for their goods before the season to replenish school occupied. His clients have been to your dentist and members of his basketball team. She and I were pleasantly surprised by your success!

African-American children see examples of good and bad (we can learn from both) of Black entrepreneurs in history. James Presley Ball was a successful photographer of the 19th Century (not an easy time for blacks). However, he saw aneed (people like to take a picture), and met him.

John P. Parker, a former slave, was an inventor and owner of the foundry.

As for the bad examples, stories abound about the failures, often due to poor business skills, taking advantage of their employer. Wallace "Wally" Amos, Jr. is the founder of cookies Famous Amos chocolate chip in my mind. Even if a magician biscuit bakery, has admitted to not justBusinessman. Unfortunately, after initial success, was forced to sell their business. Noteworthy here is that once resolved, Mr. Amos refused to stay down and is now sought after motivational speaker, author and advocate of literacy.

Finally, should begin as soon as you a dollar or two to make young black man the importance of money to save and share some of their profits are taught in their business.

The point is not to promote rich, butthat could certainly happen under the right circumstances, but valuable life skills such as creativity, honesty and perseverance.
