We compared the start times of Mac OS X Leopard and Windows 7 bits (beta/7000/64). Hardware: Intel Core 2 Q6600 Quad@2.4 GHz (no OC) 8 GB DDR2 800 MHz RAM 1 TB SATA II (3.0 Gb / s) Samsung HDD w / 32 MB cache (both with the same boot disk) nVidia GeForce 8800 GT w / 512 MB RAM to install Leopard and Windows 7 on 120 GB partition. Results: Leopard: Windows7 14.7 sec: 26.4 sec Leopard boots up 79.6% faster than Windows 7 I am not very partial one way or another, Ino reason to modify the video, I have my iPod Touch during filming to ensure that the boat has not been modified or changed times.
