Caring For Your Horse During the Winter - Winter Horse Care

You pull back your curtains to reveal old man winter masterpiece. The ground is shimmering in the sun. Before you or your family dares to challenge this exceptional white world, you combine your best equipment, snow boots, gloves, scarves, wear hand warmers, eat a good breakfast and brew hot chocolate after your return.

You can bring a bottle of water when a snowball fight on the heart, or a shovel to clear the entrance. The point is that ifwe are these things for our family, why not for our horses? There are many problems that can occur for a horse for the harsh conditions of winter. With proper care and a little extra effort these problems can be easily avoided.

Cover Up!

Most horses adapt well to cold, so the parking is not required. What is needed is somewhere they can get from the elements. A small shed and is good for this tree line.
