Idaho has 18 ski centers and resorts with a total area of 16,000 hectares of tests for everyone, from beginners to experts. Other popular places are Schweitzer Mountain, found in the "panhandle" of the state "near Sandpoint, Bogus BasinMountain, near Boise, and Grand Targhee, not far from Driggs. Most ski resorts in Idaho have designated areas for snowboarders and tubers, and many paths for those in Nordic style, cross-maintained enjoy activities.
